Overview-

Kinja FC are a semi-professional football club currently playing in the cherry red brooks Middlesex county football league. Kinja play there home games and train at the ark academy school in Wembley. As well as currently running a development centre, Kinja have football teams in the U11-U16 age bracket for both boys and girls as well as a men’s senior team and a working relationship with Camden town ladies. Kinja’s overall goal is for both there men’s and ladies sides to climb the football league system and become professional sides.

Development centre-

Kinja pride themselves on there development centre and believe its what makes them one of the most unique and different clubs in England. The idea behind the development centre is to turn a child into a technically and tactically brilliant young player. We use training to focus on each individual player and ensure that during the duration of the session that the individual always has the ball at there feet. At the end of each session, the different movements using both feet the players have learnt are put to the test by competing in 1v1s and 2v2s, thus improving there decision making aswell.

The end goal for the development centre is for players to be technically ready to progress into Kinjas competitive teams or other football clubs. Not only does having technically ready players aid and assist the coaches but also means the players enjoy the game more as they learn and master more advance aspects of football.

Clubs Philosophy-

Kinjas philosophy is simply, to not forget that football is the game, Kinja express there identity through the way they play football but also through there coaching methodology. Kinja encourage players to express opinions and ideas and encourage coaches to try and work with the pkayers in order to create a more collaborative learning environment, believing that a player-coach relationship is vital in the progression of a player.

Style of play-

Kinja encourage there players to control the possession of the game and play out from the back. The idea behind this is that Kinja believe that if the other team don’t have the ball they cant score. Kinja are fully aware that superior possession doesn’t always win games, Kinja believe that it’s a style that’s overall more attractive.
