To get chosen as club of the month by Arsenal the three times Premier League winners and 13 times FA Cup winners is some accolade, this is something Kinja FC have done much due to their superb involvement in girls football. Kinja when founded in 2011 had 10 girls at the club, now they boast 100 girls all the way from 8 and under through to 18 and under. Recently forming a partnership with Camden Ladies of the Greater London Women's Football League Division 2 North which can provide a route into the senior game in the future.
Training at the Ark Academy a stone's throw from Wembley Stadium provides an inspiration for the girls of what dedication and hard work may lead too. The club has a partnership with Arsenal Ladies which again acts as a route into the game. Kinja have strong beliefs that coaching is a two-way process by which the player-coach relationship is vitally important in achieving success.
Kinja place a focus on developing the technical ability of the girls in a collective term, where they look at passing and movement and instilling a team ethic. The main priority always remains to have fun!
